Beginning Farmer Learn & Network: March 13, 2025

Beginning Farmer Learn & Network is taking place on Thursday, March 13, 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Appleman Farms in Turbotville, PA (Northumberland County) and the Turbotville Community Hall. This event will provide an opportunity for beginning farmers to learn about small ruminant forage systems, the relationship to soil health, and share information about how to receive technical and financial assistance.
The event begins with a farm tour and includes conversations with USDA-NRCS, USDA-FSA, and Northumberland County Conservation District staff, as well as grazing and soil health professionals including Dave Hartman, Lisa Blazure, and Ann Basehore. Dinner is included and there is no cost to participate however, registration is required.
